I haven’t been able to post because I was busy during the weekend. But yay!! I finally graduated!! After graduation, my parents and I headed back home to start preparing for my grad/birthday party. We prepared some pasta and cheese and wine and more food for everyone. :) I’m glad I was able to spend my night with some of the closest people in my life. :) the next day, my family and I had buffet and as usual, my mom, sister, brother and I devoured the entire dessert table. Haha!

It feels so weird that I’m an official bum now, trying to look for a job. (If you have something in mind for me, ask me and maybe we can talk about it)

Right now i still cant believe that I’m a graduate already. No more allowance, no more seeing friends in the campus, no more getting sick of the food in Taft (which I bet I will miss in the future), no more long breaks where we cram everything, or we just simply do nothing. These are just some of the things I’m going to miss about my college life.

But above all that, I want thank God for giving me the strength to go through all the stress I’ve been through. I thank my parents for being so supportive all the way. I thank my siblings for cheering me up when I’m down. I thank my friends, especially those who acted for all my video projects, and those who have been with me during my entire stay in college. But most of all, I thank my professors for sharing their knowledge, especially Ms. Sibayan, Sir Groyon, Sir Joey, Sir Pat, Sir Gary, and Ms. Mamawal. They have challenged me to do my best in my course and I really learned from them, not just academically but also those little life lessons I was able to pick up.

Like I said in my older post, I’m kind of anxious about what’s out there for me, but quite excited to learn more about life I’m the process, and continue making art, and hopefully make change or find meaning in what I’ll be doing soon :)

Almost there

I’m graduating on Saturday. I am very much afraid but that’s life. It is such as challenge to step out of my comfort zone but it is a chapter in my life that I shall take with the utmost passion and dedication.

I would have never been introduced to photography if it weren’t for my course and I thank God for leading me into this path.

Pre-Graduation: Recognition Rites, Baccalaureate Mass, Class Pic, and Grad practice, and a little bit of college life in between.

Taking a break from posting pictures of Italy! Yesterday, I spent the entire day in school. We had to be there from 8am-8pm, but because of certain problems during the graduation practice, we were in school until 9pm. It was hella hot and hella tiring but I’m glad I spent the day with these amazing people. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have survived college without them :)

CommArts has been one hell of a tough and stressful ride, but being surrounded by these people made it all worth it. Visiting the Comm hallway and the TV studio, and saying goodbye to the technicians all felt so nostalgic and surreal. And seeing the faces of our batchmates who are yet to graduate made me miss them even more. I don’t want it all to be over. I’m anxious about what’s in store for me in the future. But I can definitely say that I spent a pretty awesome chapter of my life during the three years (well, a little bit more than that) I spent in DLSU. :)

ps, I find it so awesome that I’m also graduating with some of my closest high school friends <3 See you all on Saturday!!
